About me

DSC02459

Hey! My name is Gregory, but I go by TravellingEevee on social media. I’ve had a very international upbringing and I’m not sure if it’s entirely due to that or not but from a very young age, I’ve always loved to travel and discover the world. There’s just something about discovering cultures and ways of life that are so different and being so far away from home, isn’t there? Considering that I am a “third-culture kid”, it could also be that I like to learn how to apply these ways of life in my life too which ends up adding more layers to my identity too (this has both positive and negative consequences, for sure haha).

I also happen to have a passion for showing all of these adventures of line to others, in order to inspire them or teach them about this endless and fascinating world we live, I truly do believe that you can never stop learning, discovering and travelling. That is why I run a YouTube channel and now this blog! Have a good time here!

So, where are you from?

Oooh, that’s the question that gets me every time. It seems simple for most people which I suppose is why they ask it all the time. To me, however, it’s not. I usually end up saying half-truths like I’m French, I’m British, European or whatever, but that’s not the full story so we won’t be having any of that here.

My mum is French and my Dad British and I do speak both languages totally fluently. I have dual nationality and I do feel equally from both countries.

*Why is the concept of dual nationality so confusing for some people to grasp, though??*

I have also spent a large part of my life living in Belgium in a very international environment, so although I do like Belgium, I do not feel Belgian in the slightest and I haven’t had the chance to know many Belgian people despite growing up there.

I am currently studying and living in Alicante, Spain and I am having an absolute blast! It truly is lovely here. There are chances I might move back to the U.K and I’d love to go to university in New Zealand.

Apart from living in countries, I have spent a lot of time travelling around them and I always try to experiences as much of every county I visit. I am not a beach holiday person at all…

How many countries have you been to then?
